Terms of Service

Who can use CoThWo

You must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EU — and able to form a binding contract with us. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements. You may not use CoThWo if you have been banned or if your use would break the law.

Your account

You sign in through our authentication provider, Supabase, using an email and password or a connected Google or Apple account. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure; we support two-factor authentication and recommend enabling it. Keep your account information accurate, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts, and may close registration, at our discretion — including to enforce these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, sexually exploitative, or that infringes others' rights;
• spam, scam, impersonate others, or distribute malware;
• harvest data, abuse our systems, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• buy, sell, or promote illegal or prohibited items in the Marketplace; or
• misuse AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or infringing content.

We enforce these rules with tools including user reporting, blocking and muting, automated AI moderation that may hide content, human review by our staff, content removal, account suspension or banning, and disabling features. We may act on content or accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are harmful.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create and share on CoThWo. To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, transcode, and display your content, and to distribute and rank it within the Service. This license lets us, for example: store your media with our storage and delivery providers; generate previews and thumbnails; create text embeddings so your content can be found through semantic search; scan your content (including images) for safety; and show your content in feeds, search, reshares, and — where applicable — as promoted or boosted posts. The license ends when you delete your content or account, except for content others have reshared and copies we must keep for legal or safety reasons. You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the rights to share it.

AI features

CoThWo includes AI tools — the post composer and Content Boost, the AI Blog Studio, smart replies, semantic discovery, and an in-app assistant. The assistant can take actions for you (such as drafting and publishing a post, following someone, or sending a message) only after you explicitly approve each action. These features are powered by third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic and Google), and using them sends the relevant content to those providers — see our Privacy Policy. AI output can be inaccurate or inappropriate; you are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted content before you publish or rely on it, and AI-generated content may be labeled as such.

Subscriptions, payments & the Marketplace

• CoThWo Pro. CoThWo Pro is a paid subscription billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. The price and billing period are shown at checkout. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Marketplace.The Marketplace lets users buy and sell items directly from one another. CoThWo is not the buyer or seller — we provide the platform and process payments through Stripe. When you buy, your payment is held and released to the seller after you confirm you received your order. We charge sellers a platform fee (currently 5% of each sale) and pay out the remainder through Stripe Connect; to receive payouts, sellers must complete Stripe's onboarding. Refunds reverse the related seller earnings. You are responsible for your listings, transactions, taxes, and for complying with applicable law; prohibited or illegal items are not allowed.
• Boosts. You can pay to boost a post or Page. Boosts are reviewed before they run and may be rejected; rejected boosts are refunded.
• Jobs & events. Job posts link to an external application — we are not the employer or a party to any hiring — and events use free RSVPs; we do not sell tickets.

Third-party services

CoThWo relies on third-party services — including Stripe, Supabase, Cloudflare, LiveKit, Anthropic, and Google — and your use of related features may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Our intellectual property

The CoThWo name, logo, software, and design are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not give you any right to use our brand without our permission.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content — including AI output — will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoThWo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You can stop using CoThWo at any time and may ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including content licenses for already- reshared content, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — continue after termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will revise the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
